The best thing about Toronto (well, one of the best -- there are a lot of good things here) is that there’s something for everyone. Whatever your interests are, or if you just like discovering new things, then you’ll find that Toronto more than provides! And especially during the summer, when there are plenty of events happening across the city. Just take a look at some that we have coming up in August: we have a vegan festival, a craft beer show, and a festival that’s all about Japan. Sounds pretty good, right? Check out all the details below.

Vegan food from Caribbean

Vegan food is catching on in a big way, and especially so in Toronto, where that are plenty of restaurants and cafes coming up we some awesome vegan dishes. You can get a taste of some of the most creative creations by attending the Afro-Caribbean Vegan Market, which will be taking place at the 519 Community Center on August 24. Make sure you bring your appetite!

For the beer lovers

Vegan food is catching on; craft beer is already the star of the show. The Leslieville Beerfest 2019 will also be taking place on August 24 on Dundas Street East. The roads will be closed to traffic, and open to local craft beer producers, for a good old street party.

Celebrating Japanese culture

Toronto is a multicultural city! You can travel across the world during the Japan Festival Canada, which will feature all things Japan related and take place On August 24 and 25 at Mississauga Celebration Square.
