Toronto’s weather in February might not be the most agreeable, but fear not, because that doesn’t mean that the city is a ghost town. Quite the opposite, in fact: there are plenty of fun events and attractions to keep you and your family fully entertained during your trip. Just take a look at some of the events we have coming up: there’ll be an special ice display, a festival for the kids, and the visit of one of the best active singer-songwriters around. Check out the need to know info below.

Ice, ice, ice

If it’s going to be cold, then we may as well have some fun with it. At Icefest 2019, you’ll be able to see some 70,000 lbs of ice all artfully arranged in displays. It’ll be taking place from February 9 - 10 in the village of Yorkville Park and surrounding areas. Oh, and it’s all in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation, too.

For the kids

Travelling with the kids in tow? Then don’t miss Kidsfest, which is now in its 10th year. There’ll be far more fun activities than we could possibly mention here, but you expect to see inflatables, a petting zoo, and musical performances, alongside many more family-friend activities! Takes place February 16 - 18 at The International Centre.

Soulful music

Kurt Vile will be in town with his band the Violators on February 16. Hear his soulful guitar and enchanting lyrics at The Danforth Music Hall. Not one music lovers will want to miss!
