April events in Toronto: souvenirs, comedy, and the moon

Everything’s beginning to heat up in Toronto, now that Spring is nearly upon us. The temperatures are creeping in the right direction, everyone’s beginning to spend more time on the streets, and the events are coming thick and fast. If you’re taking a trip to Toronto from mid-April onwards, you’ll be able to enjoy events that include a special market that’s ideal for picking up a souvenir, a comedy show focused on happiness and love, and an exhibition dedicated to our favourite orbiting satellite, the moon.

Pick up a souvenir

You’ll likely have heard of Etsy, the world’s largest website for craftspeople to sell their creations. On Sunday, April 14, they’ll be in town for the ‘Etsy Team Toronto: Spring Market,’ which will be taking place at The Great Hall. If you’re looking for a locally crafted souvenir to take home with you, you’ll find it here.

Ready to laugh

There’s something oh so enjoyable about comedy shows. You get to see people owning the stage, everyone’s in a good mood, and yes, there are plenty of opportunities to laugh until you cry. If that all sounds good, then make sure you’re checking out the ‘Love is Everywhere’ comedy show, which will take place on Sunday April 21 at Comedy Bar. Great times guaranteed!

To the moon

You have until August 18 to check out the ‘Moon: A Voyage Through Time’ exhibition, which will be taking place at the Aga Khan Museum. A must-visit for all space lovers!

After all that fun, there’s only one place you’ll want to return to: the best hotel in Toronto. At the Best Western Plus Travel Hotel Toronto Airport, you’ll have everything you need to relax and unwind during your stay, including comfortable, spacious accommodations, and access to amenities that include a complimentary breakfast, fitness centre, and onsite restaurant.
